Until now, this plant was popular for making drinks and bread, but having in mind the revelation of it main characteristics, things will change from now on. Namely, it can cure cancer and infertility.

The plant in question is Manihot esculenta, commonly known as cassava, manioc, Brazilian arrowroot and tapioca. Cassava tubers are part of the spurge family (Euphorbiaceae) of plants, originating from the South-American forests.

This South American Plant Is a Potential Cure for Cancer and Infertility

This cassava plant, or manioc, is proved to be efficient cure for infertility, severe headaches and arthritis. Its leaves are abundant in protein, lysine and beta-carotene, and its root in calcium and vitamin C. Constant consuming of this plant will make your bones stronger, as well as your resistance.

Benefits of Manioc or Cassava plant

Tapioca is a starch extract derived from this plant which helps in gaining weight, serves as a protection from birth defects, lowers the level of cholesterol, improves circulation and digestion, increases the number of red blood cells, helps in preventing diabetes, Alzheimer’s, protects the heart and the mineral density of the bones, maintains the balance of fluids in the body. There are claims that it also helps in fighting colon, prostate and bladder cancer.

According to the latest research conducted by Lankacnews.com, it is very effective for treating tumors.

This plant contains a small amount of poisonous cyanide, so it has to be cooked thoroughly before consumption. When one consumes it for medicinal reasons, one must peel it, cut it into pieces and then immerse it in hot and cold water alternately. After cooking, one needs to refrigerate the soaked leaves for two hours, and pour the liquid in which they have soaked into another liquid, water or a fruit juice, and consume it every morning on an empty stomach.

Cassava is rich in vitamin B17 – used in medication to counter cancer

Manioc, or cassava, is abundant in vitamin B17, used in the medications for fighting cancer. This confirms that it has the ability to fight cancer. After being diagnosed with cancer, Dr. Cynthia Jayasuriya, an ear, nose and throat surgeon, started looking for ingredients that contain this vitamin. It is an inspiring story: she was diagnosed with transitional cell cancer and for almost 10 years she was resisting and fighting, until she decided to try an alternative treatment. She has read on WorldWithoutCancer.org that there is a plant, manioc, also known as cassava or tapioca that is abundant in vitamin B17 and has found it and consumed it for a month, 100 g daily, three times per day. She has consumed it boiled in the morning and as a curry in the afternoon and in the evening. The results of the cystoscopy she has done one month later showed no signs of cancer.

Here’s her explanation about how this plant really works:

The vitamin B17 taken in with the manioc, in the normal human cells combines with an enzyme, Rhodanese, which breaks it down into three sugars. When this vitamin enters the cancer cell, which is an immature cell, it becomes broken into glucose, benzaldehyde and hydrocyanic acid; one sugar, one benzaldehyde and one hydrocyanic acid. The difference that emerges is due to the different enzyme the normal and the cancer cell contain. The cancer cell does not contain Rhodanese, but beta-glucosidase instead. One of the products gotten by breaking of vitamin B17 by the beta-glucosidase, the hydrocyanic acid acts like LTTE cyanide capsule and kills the cancer cell.

After she has published the article wth her story, Dr. Jayasuriya started receiving information from people who also defeated cancer after reading her artcle.

Mr. Perera, a 70-year-old man, defeated prostate cancer after consuming manioc for breakfast.

Another man defeated a liver cancer, who was dealing with metastases after he had undergone surgery.

Dr. Navarro and his treatment with cassava root

Dr. Navarro, a wide-known cancer researcher, has said: “manioc is an effective low-cost treatment to help revere cancer growth.” (Saatwamji.blogspot.com). For the Cancer New Journal he said: “It is my carefully considered clinical judgment, as a practicing oncologist and researcher in this field, that I have obtained most significant and encouraging results with the use of laetrile-amygdaline in the treatment of terminal cancer patients.”

How to consume cassava root drink:

The average size of the cassava root patients use should be about four inches according to Dr. Navarro. It should be washed well and the outer brown skin should be peeled off. The root should be blended with 2 cups of distilled water for 2 minutes at high speed. Then this milk should be put in a bottle with wide mouth and then in the refrigerator. After some time, when the liquid is being settled, the starch will be at the bottom and on the top will be the clear liquid. The two cups of this clear liquid should be consumed one in the morning before breakfast and one in the early evening. The drink has slightly bitter taste because of the B17, but some fruit juice can be added to neutralize the bitterness. The first day is allowed an amount of only 4 inches of cassava root, but in the next days, half an inch of cassava should be added each time. It may cause dizziness after a while, and this would be the limit of the level of tolerance, so the next day you should use an inch less.

As dr. Navarro advises, everyone should be careful with the quantity, because the fact that it kills cancer talks enough about its strength. Also, children should not use this drink.

Cassava and fertility

Cassava root increases fertility. It improves the total body’s fertility and helps the ovulation process and the overcoming of the effects of PCOS. There’s a tribe in Africa, Yoruba, a farming community in Southwest Nigeria, which uses cassava root in their everyday diet and is known as “The land of twins”. The birth rate of twins there is 4 times higher than the world’s average. Some nutrients in this vegetable stimulate the ovaries to produce more than one egg in an ovulation. It contains a natural hormone – phytoestrogen, which is responsible for the production of multiple eggs, a process called hyper-ovulation. The people of the tribe consume the whole plant, but the most of the hormones are concentrated in the root. In its raw state is inedible, so the preparation is important.

Note: there are precautions that should be taken in the preparation of manioc:

  1. Never consume ginger or any ginger-based product (ginger beer, ginger-nut biscuits) with or after manioc. Sri Lanka is known for knowing the risks and the consequences of the mixing.
  2. When you peel the manioc before cooking, first check the tuber whether it shows a blue line. The appearance of blue line is indicating that you need to throw off the manioc because it contains cyanide. This testing is a must.
  3. The cooking of manioc should be in an earthenware pot. For the cooking, put water in the pot, but the water should be well above the surface of the manioc and the pot needs to remain open, so that the excess hydrocyanic acid can evaporate. The water should be thrown away after the manioc is boiled.
