Don’t you think it’s time for you to start preparing for the beach? Well, it is, as it is always better to start in time and have enough time to eliminate some stubborn fat tissues, like the one in the chin area. Some people are genetically susceptible to developing double chin as they grow older. However, this does not mean that there is nothing you can do about it. If you want to target a specific area of your body, you don’t have to work harder; you just have to work smarter. Concentrate on some key exercises that will provide you with faster results and make sure that your face is going to look great from all angles. Do not forget that it is never too late to obtain the results you have always dreamed of.

We present you five exercises that have been confirmed to tighten and tone the pesky chin area. Before you start performing these exercises, take a couple of minutes to warm up by moving your chin forward and backward. Once it gets loosened up, you can start.

1. The Ladle

Start the chin workout with this simple exercise that consists of opening your mouth wide and bending your lower lip inwardly. Then, close your mouth and pull your jaw forward. Make slow and deliberate movements so that the chin muscles are adequately engaged in the exercise. Also, let the muscles relax before you move on to the next exercise. Start opening and closing your mouth gently and your jaw will be loosened.

2. “Kiss” Ceiling

Yes, you are supposed to act as if you are really going to do the thing described in the title of the exercise. This means that you will have to tilt your head upward and extend your lips making a kissing motion. This is a simple exercise that works the neck muscles and thus tightens them and tones them.

3. Touch the Nose

This exercise is efficient in extending the chin muscles. Stick your tongue out and try to touch your nose with it. Put a finger under your nose in order to be able to feel the muscles extend and flatten in this position.

4. Resistance

Start this exercise by making two fists and put them directly under your chin. Then, push your chin down on your fists and remain in this position for five seconds. Even though little, the resistance you will make will help you reduce the appearance of double chin.

5. The Perfect Oval

Are you interested in a perfect face shape? Of course you are. So, if you want to train your face to become more oval, here is what you should do: turn your head to one side and thrust your jaw forward. You are supposed to feel the extension of the jaw and the neck muscles. Hold your head into this position for a while, and then turn it to the opposite side, repeating everything.
